THE CANADIAN DREAM
In grade 7, 52 years ago, I was taught the fundamentals of The Canadian Dream:
1. adequate food, clothing and shelter for all Canadians
2. access to a proper public funded academic education for all Canadians provided by sane teachers
3. sane governments in public (funded) office elected by socially and otherwise literate populations of adults
4. adequate medical care for all Canadians who don't choose to become ill or disabled provided by sane medical professionals where, however, prostitution, politics, crime, wrestling and sales, for example, never have been, aren't now nor ever will be professions or sex a trade.
WHY DEMOCRACY IS FLAWED
AND HOW LUNATICS GET ELECTED

Unfortunately, as you know, democracy has always been flawed when socially and otherwise illiterate populations of adult aged children vote for other rather stupid adult aged children to occupy public (funded) office.
Adult aged children who, today, promote CommonWealth (Communism?) for 6+ billion people in 200+ countries to all live like 12 year olds would, they say, if my class, grade 7 honors social studies, were all rich and famous, i.e. wealthy and obviously emotionally disturbed like most of these geniuses

DO YOU HAVE A SANE GOVERNMENT IN PUBLIC FUNDED OFFICE WHERE YOU LIVE?
The obvious signs of insane government in public (funded) office today might include predominantly or all male Senates, Parliaments, Legislatures, Military and Police, gay communities, The Masons, The KKK, history's Comic Kingdoms (why not Queendumbs now?) references to ancient and today's Cartoon Empires and Ancient so called Civilizations, all male religious leaders and history's heroes etc., where 'men?' seem, generally, even today, terrified of women but very very fond of each other, and where, they say, prostitution, politics, crime, wrestling and sales, for example, are professions and sex is a trade? Venus? Mars? Where you live*?
To determine the sanity of government where you live, however, there are simple tests anyone can apply to what what people in public (funded) office do and say:
1. Do your 'public servants' talk about Canada, for example, as if Canada is admired and respected as being, historically, part of The Comic British Empire and eventually becoming part of The Cartoon American Empire while, however, since China basically owns The USA now, eventually being part of Global China and Communism (Commonwealth?) for 6+ billion people in 200+ countries to all live like the average Chinese Communist Party member http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party_of_China does today?
2. Do the characters you elect into public (funded) office wander around the world at public expense spouting BS, embarrassing Canadians who live in Canada and work for a living at something worthwhile, who then get their incomes taxed creating a disincentive for productive work while rewarding criminals, dysfunctional organized religions and self serving charities and wealthy folks in Canada who don't pay any taxes at all?
3. Do the characters in public (funded) office where you live refer to citizens, their employers, as 'human resources', objects/commodities, as if they're not human themselves? Aliens? Blood Sucking Insects? Predatory Salespeople?
And, don't criminals, generally, regard their victims as 'human resources'?
4. When you talk to an American, for example, especially about education, do you wonder about the practicality of:

b. less and less access to a proper public funded academic education provided by sane teachers, especially in 'the early grades', K-4, where about 100% of teachers in The USA are very well paid women; women we must hope are sane?
c. comic SUPERpower and a bloated male dominated military industrial complex whose agenda is always aggressive and always predicated on 'what women want' for bizarre nesting ambitions where prostitution, politics, crime, wrestling and sale, for example, are, they say, professions and sex is a trade? Venus? Mars? Where you live?
SO DR. CLIFFORD, YOU'RE WONDERING, WHO SHOULD SANE PEOPLE VOTE FOR TODAY?

It could be argued that it's insane for anyone to run for public (funded) office today when TV= radio+pictures; including movies and The Internet, is increasingly available to 'the poor' who, throughout history have relied on broadcasters (orators) and publishers (journalists) to add to the past 5000 years or so of local* NEWS about real life in the real world where you live.
However, to assess the relative sanity, emotional and social maturity and intelligence of candidates for public (funded) office today might be easiest if you ask yourself the following questions:
1. Do they (the candidates) talk about Global Villages for 6+ billion people in 200+ countries in 2009 to live like we're all in the movies or on TV playing house and playing family like 12 year olds would they say, if my class, grade 7 honors social studies, where rich and famous, i.e. wealthy and obviously emotionally disturbed, were royalty, won lotteries, were successful criminals and/or otherwise enabled to impress 'the poor' required as audiences for how adult aged children live while trying to buy class from high end real estate brokers, luxury car dealers, expensive stores and, generally, trying to impress other socially and otherwise illiterate adult aged children?
2. Are they (the candidates for public funded office) 'men?' seeking to impress fee-males today, who represent about 50% of eligible voters in Canada and The USA, liberated women who're most likely to vote for guys with lots of chari$ma who look good on TV no matter how stupid they may be and/or how easily they can be conned and/or paid off by clever lobbyists and/or donors to political parties?
NB- Women liberated to DO what? All the hard labor? All the dangerous dirty often boring almost always underpaid jobs*?: Coincidentally, 90% of the homeless on North America are male? 90% of prisoners in jails, a very big business, in Canada and The USA are male?

For example, if you've been able to read this far and remember the premis of this blog, you are reading at a grade 7 (second form) level of English comprehension that's also required to read a local* newspaper and most books, so you, with some effort, can also remember everything that 'happened' when you were an infant and toddler? When you Parents/Guardians and other Adults must have seemed like Gods (in the image of man?) to you?
TO BECOME SANE ADULTS SOMEDAY
First we must decide what 'sane' means in the context of 6+ billion people in 200+ countries today, and perhaps 'Global Media' representing the world's brightest and best highest iQ scholars, intellectuals and philosophers, and perhaps a Newer Better World Order where democracy eventually elects only geniuses of unimpeachable good character into public (funded) office?
